“What wouldn't you give to live, love, and be happy, deliriously happy, forevermore?
Well, that's just it, you needn't give anything. Just decide to live, love, and be happy, deliriously happy, from this moment forward. And I shall provide.” ~Note from The Universe AKA Mike Dooley
If you are even a little bit like me, you’ve given bookoodles of time, talent, self improvement, and lots of money in the quest for happiness and love. Even if you have a fundamentally loving and happy life. And maybe you’ve lamented all that effort just a wee bit (‘fess up), given in to the frustration of striving so hard and still not getting there, wherever “there” is.
Isn’t the Giver supposed to become the Receiver?
Humans have always found it challenging to accept happiness and love even though it’s our birthright and we are surrounded every moment of every day. Instead, we focus on the striving, the nitpicking. We get sidetracked as I did Monday. (Click HERE and HERE for that little story.) And we yearn and strive and ache some more. It’s exhausting.
We consistently forget one tiny tremendous detail - All that effort is fruitless until we turn on the switch. It’s like trying to drive a car without starting the engine. It won’t go so you get out and push, still without starting the engine. The more frustrated you get, the harder you push. And the car just sits there.
You have a life switch. It’s called “Decide.” Turn it on before doing anything. Relax and allow.
Monday was a perfect reminder for me. All I have to do is decide to BE the thing I want to receive and then allow spirit, the universe, source, soul, LIFE to bring just the relationships and experiences that will make it so, each one perfect and perfectly delivered just in time.
